Medical Disclaimer
Please read this carefully before starting.
The Spinal Restoration Program is an educational and exercise-based program. It is not a substitute for evaluation, diagnosis, or treatment by a qualified healthcare provider. Use of the Program does not create a doctor–patient relationship.
By participating, you confirm that you have either (a) discussed your back pain with a physician and been cleared for an exercise-based rehabilitation program, or (b) accept full responsibility for that decision. We require Premium tier participants and anyone with prior surgical history to provide signed clearance.
Stop and seek urgent medical care
Red-flag symptoms — do not start the Program if any of these are present
- New or progressive neurological symptoms — numbness, weakness, or loss of coordination, especially in both legs.
- Loss of bowel or bladder control, or new saddle-area numbness (possible cauda equina syndrome — this is a medical emergency).
- Unexplained weight loss accompanying back pain.
- Fever with back pain, or recent infection.
- Back pain after significant trauma (fall, motor vehicle accident, sports collision).
- History of cancer with new back pain.
- Severe, escalating radicular (leg) pain that worsens despite rest.
- Known unstable spinal fracture or recent spinal surgery within restriction window.
If any of these apply, contact your physician or emergency services before beginning any exercise program.
Conditions requiring clearance
If you have any of the following, obtain written clearance from your treating physician before starting:
- Spinal hardware (fusion, rods, artificial disc).
- Diagnosed disc herniation with radicular symptoms.
- Spinal stenosis with neurological symptoms.
- Inflammatory arthritis (ankylosing spondylitis, rheumatoid).
- Osteoporosis or fracture history.
- Pregnancy.
- Cardiovascular conditions that limit exercise tolerance.
During the Program
Some muscular soreness is expected. Sharp, shooting, or radiating pain is not — pause and consult your clinician. If your pain meaningfully worsens for more than 72 hours after a session, stop and reassess.
Acknowledgement
